This comic, if you know of it, is self-explanatory. If not, I'll tell you why I love it. It's a webcomic about computer geekiness, grammar, and more geeky stuff. It even has the more than occasional Linux reference in it, as well. The guy that makes it is a really cool programmer and web designer. You should check it out.
When I first saw the name of this comic, that was almost enough to draw me in. But when I actually started reading it, I was HOOKED. It's a webcomic that starts off about this guy, Marty, who is a little bit of a hipster and stuff. He has this "pet" robot who he lives with. He bumps randomly into this new gal in town, Faye, who ends up rooming with him. You meet several other characters and it kind of shoots off from there. Romantic comedies for the win, by the way.
Least I Could Do
This webcomic was one of the first out of this list I finally admitted to being fully addicted to. It's about this guy, Rayne Summers, who is kind of arrogant, headstrong, and WAY quirky and out there. And although I've never really labelled myself as arrogant, Rayne reminds me a LOT of myself in many ways. I find myself thinking "WOW. I'd do that." all the time when reading this.
Girls With Slingshots
The everyday adventures of Hazel, the cynical writer who hasn't met a bottle she doesn't like, Jamie, her volumptous and optimistic best friend, the men in her life, and the women in theirs. Another romantic comedy here. Seeing a trend?
The life of Chase Conners as he deals with friends, family, monsters and koalas. It gets more random from there. This starts off just as your regular, geeky, fun-filled comic. Later on, there are romantic comedy elements (BIG surprise there) added as well as some pretty good plot twists.
So, those are my favorite ones. What are you waiting for? GO READ THEM! But remember to start at the very beginning. :D
